This year’s Duck Race will be a FREE event. Free tickets will be available to all those 18 and under who attend the Blairstown Fourth event at Footbridge Park on Sunday, July 4. Just stop by the Rotary Club of Blairstown booth any time before 3 PM to get your ticket. The race will be held around 4 PM. And even though the tickets are free, there will still be prizes!
Tickets will ONLY be distributed at Footbridge Park on July 4th. One ticket per person. FIRST place prize is a $100 Visa gift card. A $50 Visa gift card will be awarded to each SECOND through TENTH place winner. There will be 1,000 tickets and 1,000 ducks, first come, first served. ALL winners MUST be present to receive their prize. One prize per person.
The original plan was for Duck Race proceeds to benefit the Blairstown Hose Company. While we are unable to sell tickets this year due to bureaucratic delays, Rotary will be donating $2,000 to the Hose Company, and they will be providing their services to set up and help run the race. And all donations received by Rotary on July 4 will also be donated to the Hose Company, who exemplify the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.
